Picture books for weird little rebels

Parker Sharkman is Super Weird

  • Parker Sharkman has zero sharky instincts, zero shark pup friends, and one peculiar passion he will only tell you about if you PROMISE to keep it a secret…

You see, while other shark pups love to scare land creatures, have tickle fights with remoras and kick rocks of ocean cliffs - Parker hates that stuff.

Instead Parker LOVES to paint pictures in the sand upside down, using his top fin as a marker. (A Parker Sharky marker.)

But when the other shark pups accidentally stumble on Parker’s sharky marker art, Parker vows to be a normal shark pup from now until forever.

Except every time he tries to be normal, bad stuff happens.

Finally Parker must decide, does he want to fit in with the shark pups, or be his super weird marker artsy self?

  • Complete. Pitching agents March 2025-April 2025.

If no success with agents, Parker will be self-published in summer 2025.

Gail Whalia is Such a Bossy Pants

  • Gail Whalia is having a very bad day.

First, her friends (who do not know what they’re talking about) called her a bossy pants, and exiled her from the Whale Tail Games.

Second, she keeps getting hit with shark pup rocks.

She is ready to give up on absolutely everything, when she gets hit with ANOTHER shark pup rock. A rock that leads her on a journey to discovering her bossiness can be a super power — when used for good. (And not to insult the other whales whose ideas aren’t as good as hers).

  • The second book in the proposed Untitled Ocean series.

If Book 1 (Parker Sharkman is Super Weird), is not picked up in spring 2025, you can expect Gail Whalia to be self-published in late Summer 2025.

Dolores Seahorace is Much Too Shy

  • Dolores Seahorace will be coming to life summer of 2025. Check back for more updates on her adventures, or sign up for updates!

  • In planning. Expected manuscript completion summer 2025.

Untitled Multi-Generational Family Saga - Upmarket

  • Cara is a workaholic perfect daughter who depends on gold stars for survival. Until her business explodes in a painful dumpster fire, leaving her 32, in 6-figure debt, pregnant, and moving into her parents’ basement with her adoring husband.

But it’s from the high-conflict intersection of Boomer cohabitation, baby preparation and life rehab, that Cara gets glimpses into her mother’s, grandmother’s and great-grandmother’s paths. And as she learns of their own stories of escaping war, shameful family failures, crippling anxiety, and lost dreams, she realizes this desperate clinging to gold stars is covering up generations of pain, shame, and family secrets.
